Ocoya Introduction

Ocoya is a web-based social media management platform for creators, small brands, marketing teams, and agencies. It uses AI to write captions, generate visuals, and schedule posts. The basic workflow is to describe a brand once and then let Ocoya fill a content calendar months ahead across networks such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Threads. Ocoya says it was built around AI from the start rather than adding AI to an older scheduler. It also pitches itself as a cheaper alternative to hiring a social media agency.

What it does

Ocoya handles the day-to-day social media work for businesses that don't have a dedicated content team: planning, copywriting, image creation, scheduling, publishing, and replying to comments. You enter a one-line idea and get back an on-brand caption in an editor, where you can rewrite, shorten, expand, change the tone, or translate it into any of 37 languages. The composer checks character counts against each network's actual limit. When a workflow publishes a caption to a network with a shorter limit, Ocoya rewrites the caption to fit instead of cutting it off.

Publishing covers a long list of destinations: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, YouTube Shorts, Google Business, TikTok, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Mastodon, Dribbble, Kick, Twitch, Whop, DEV.to, WordPress, Tumblr, plus custom destinations. WooCommerce is a trigger source, which fits e-commerce and hospitality businesses that post regularly about new products or menu items.

Key capabilities

  • AI caption and visual generation: Turns a short prompt into brand-voice copy, images, carousels, and short videos. Saved hashtag libraries and tone settings keep output consistent.
  • Per-network adaptation: You can give one network its own caption without changing the others. Live character counts and automatic rewrites help avoid truncated posts.
  • Bulk and auto-scheduling: A single calendar with drag-to-reschedule, best-time suggestions, and automatic scheduling months ahead. Ocoya says it can schedule up to a thousand posts per minute.
  • Approval pipeline: Posts can be held until the right person signs off, which is useful for agencies and teams with client or legal review.
  • Trigger-based workflows and AI agents: Automations such as "product published → AI agent → create social post" produce posts from store or content events without manual work.
  • Social inbox and AI assistant control: Incoming comments appear in a unified inbox with AI-drafted replies. Ocoya can also be operated from external AI assistants and tools, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, Gemini, Perplexity, Raycast, and n8n.

Pricing

Ocoya is a subscription service. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and the pricing page does not list a permanent free plan. Monthly prices on the pricing page:

  • Team: $79/month for 5 users, 20 social profiles, and 1,500 credits

Editorial review

Ocoya is strongest where most schedulers are weakest: producing the content itself. It combines writing, design, translation, and scheduling in one product, and its event-triggered workflows are more automation-focused than traditional tools that mainly queue posts you've already written. Support for newer networks like Bluesky, Threads, and Mastodon, plus community and developer channels such as Discord, Kick, Twitch, and DEV.to, gives it wider reach than many competitors. Being able to control it from AI assistants and n8n is a notable extra for technical users.

There are trade-offs. The credit model means heavy AI use, especially image and video generation, could run into plan limits. Buyers should check how many credits each type of output uses before committing. The source material says little about the depth of analytics and reporting, so teams that need detailed performance dashboards should test this during the trial. Confirmed access is through the web app. Claims about content "sounding like you" depend on how well the brand is described at setup, and AI-generated visuals may still need human review before publishing.

Best fit: small businesses such as restaurants, cafés, and online stores that want steady posting with little effort; solo creators managing several networks; and agencies that need multi-brand calendars, approvals, and larger profile limits. Enterprises with strict governance or advanced analytics needs will likely need a custom plan or a closer evaluation.
